How are you really?

Stressed? Anxious? Feeling that your mind is overloaded? Here are a few ways you can bring yourself back to balance…

  • Focus on your breathing - breathing is the one thing we do 24 hours a day, mostly without thinking about it. By spending a few moments calming your breath and watching how you breathe will bring your heart rate down and help you focus a great deal more.

  • Focus on what you are doing right this moment - Think only of what you are doing this second, not what you have to do next or what you have done. Think now, what is it you are doing. Break the task down into small steps. We do so many things on auto pilot which in turn allows us to overthink. By focusing only on what you are currently doing allows you to centre yourself again and calm down.
